Please reach out to our Enrollment Specialist team at hello@outlier.orgwith any questions (and share that you are an Amazon employee).

To confirm your enrollment and ensure your registration is tracked through the Career Choice program, you will need to provide your unique Amazon Payment Request. To request your Payment Request, visit your account at www.AmazonCareerChoice.com.
You must submit your Payment Request before your enrollment is confirmed and no later than 3 days before the start of your first course. If the Payment Request is not submitted by this date, you will lose access to the course material and will be dropped from the course.
-
No textbooks or additional materials are required! Everything you need for your Outlier.org course is included within our custom learning management system.
-
Outlier.org courses start approximately every 2 weeks. Each of the courses take 14 weeks to complete. We strongly recommend taking one course at a time to start. This will allow you to get a feel for the time commitment required. After your first course, you can take the next as soon as it’s convenient for you. You have up to 2 years from the date of purchase to complete all courses within the Certificate sequence.
-
A 14-week standard course has an estimated 10-20 hours/week time commitment, between watching the recorded lectures, using the Active Learning (interactive textbook), completing practice sets to test your learning, and taking the section quiz.
-
You earn your Outlier Certificate when you complete all of the courses in your certificate sequence with a passing grade (of 69.5% or higher). All courses must be taken for credit, with graded assessments and exams, to count towards a Certificate.
Once earned, you will receive both a digital and physical Outlier.org Certificate, along with a badge to share your LinkedIn Profile and resume.

At Outlier.org, we believe that curiosity is one of the most important traits a student can nurture, and electives allow you to do just that: explore new skill sets and topics that grab your attention. Electives are an important part of the college experience because they help you discover what sparks your joy and passion—key ingredients for academic (and career) success.
The College Pathways Certificate is designed to help you explore college in a meaningful way, building a general foundation that you can apply to any major or career that you choose to pursue.
-
The math elective courses, Pre-Calculus or College Algebra, are essential tools no matter where your learning or career journey takes you. Beyond learning the basics of how to work with numbers and equations, Outlier.org’s introductory math courses offer valuable practice in areas you can apply in your career or in real life situations, like: problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and logic.
We’ve built a great tool to help you figure out which math elective is right for you: when signing up for the Certificate, you’ll be asked to answer a few short questions and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Tutoring sessions will be scheduled to maximize compatibility with students’ schedules and availability. Exams and writing assignments (when applicable) are each open to take for a set window of time (usually several days); however, all other course materials are available to you from the time the course opens through the end of the final exam window.
