Sinead O’Sullivan is a Senior Researcher at Harvard Business School’s Institute of Strategy and Competitiveness.

She has an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a certificate in Space Studies from the International Space University, and a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering from Queen’s University, Belfast.

Her research lies at the intersection of the business and economics of technology, with a deep expertise in the space industry. Having previously worked with NASA and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a human spaceflight designer, her work now focuses on the business and economics of Interplanetary as well as Earth-focused missions and economies.

Peter Hans Matthews is the Charles A. Dana Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at Middlebury College and Visiting Distinguished Professor at Aalto University and the Helsinki Graduate School of Economics. He is also a Fulbright Scholar Ambassador (2021-23).

An award-winning teacher, Peter teaches courses in both introductory and intermediate macroeconomics, poverty and inequality, public economics, and labor economics at Middlebury.

When not teaching or doing economics, Peter spends his time with his partner, Carolyn, a development economist and children’s book author, and their two cats in their old Vermont house, joined from time to time by one or both of their twin daughters.

Elham Saeidinezhad is a Term Assistant Professor of Economics at Barnard College, Columbia University. Previously, Elham taught at UCLA and served as a research economist in the International Finance and Macroeconomics research group at Milken Institute, Santa Monica, where she investigated the post-crisis structural changes in the capital market result of macroprudential regulations. Before that, she was a post-doctoral fellow at INET, working closely with Prof. Perry Mehrling and studying his "Money View." Elham obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Sheffield, UK, in empirical Macroeconomics in 2013.

Her recent research lies at the intersection of Monetary Economics and Finance. Her research design is to apply the "Money View" that synthesizes our monetary and financial system's modern features to examine the financial market's evolution and central banking. She also writes a weekly Money View Column for the Economic Questions website. She teaches Monetary Economics, Money and Banking, Financial Economics, Macroeconomics, and Statistics courses.

Giacomo Santangelo is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics as well as the Director of the International Political Economy Program at Fordham University. He is an economist with training in quantitative and qualitative research and analysis with more than 20 years of teaching experience at various Universities in the New York City area. Courses taught include Statistics & Statistical Decision-Making, Applied Econometrics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Economics, Development Economics, Environmental Economics, Financial Economics, Money & Banking, Corporate Finance, Public Finance, Comparative Economic Systems, Sports Economics.

He earned his Ph.D. and Master of Arts (M.A.) in Economics from Fordham University, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Economics from Seton Hall University. A frequent media contributor, Professor Santangelo has been seen on NBC, CBS, & FoxNews, as well as in USNews and World Report, Forbes, and Fortune. In 2016, he gave a TEDx talk on the unifying theory of all Disney animated films and in 2020 published Macroeconomics: Big Things Have Small Beginnings, a macroeconomics textbook geared toward the Global Business Honors class he teaches at the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham. Professor Santangelo's research focuses on international economic growth, trade, and development.

ena Rosenberg is a healthcare strategy consultant as well as a passionate investor in healthcare and higher education with over 16 years of experience delivering strategic guidance to C-Suite leadership on major business initiatives. She is a brilliant driver of technological innovation in life sciences and healthcare technology companies.

Rena earned her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Barnard College, and her Master of Arts (M.A.) and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago. A former McKinsey Partner for the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Practice (PMP), she continues to advise countless healthcare technology organizations and startups on growth strategy, product and business development, and marketing. In 2019, she co-founded The CORE Project, a non-profit organization focused on diversifying the student body studying economics and developing a modernized and historically-informed US economics curriculum that addresses climate change, income inequality, health, education, and innovation. As an Adjunct Associate Professor of Economics at Columbia University, she enjoys using her insights at the intersection of economics and healthcare to construct real-world coursework for her students.
